Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex business operations and recommending solutions to align business functions with their organizational goals. The role will collaborate with one or several departments.

 

Your future duties and responsibilities

 

  • Support the PMO activities including developing project briefs, vendor selection & scoring, process analysis, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Support business cases and project proposals development.
  • Understand business processes and high-level project overviews and translating them into requirements, perform GAP analysis
  • Follow up with action items from meetings or risk/issue registers.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather project information to input into development of project requirements.
  • Support the development of detailed user requirements, user stories, test cases and scenarios.
  • Support the PMO team and business subject matter experts with documentation of functional, data and/or technical processes using process modelling tools.
  • Ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst team to improve the Business Analyst project deliverables.
  • Assist Project Managers in the development of project plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education

  • Diploma/Degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or related field or equivalent work experience.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ plus years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst within the IT industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to clearly communicate with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience in Agile based projects.
  • Ability to produce Business Process models (BPMN).
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects concurrently, balancing deliverables and ability to prioritize deliverables across projects.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities, creativity, and insight with the ability to resolve crisis situations with clients.
  • Strong interpersonal, and business presentation skills.
  • Comfortable in front of a technical or managerial audience.

            Certifications: Product Owner or Scrum Master Certifications

Certifications in Business Analysis (CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA)

            Applications: Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, D365
