Guidewire Developer

Must Have:

•    University degree, college diploma in Computer of Software Engineering or equivalent experience

•    5+ years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center and/or Billing Center and/or Claims Center experience through platform upgrades, implementations and/or transformations

•    5+ years of experience in Java/J2ee (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA) and strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming

•    Ability to Integrate the applications using XML and GOSU

•    Experience with Scrum Or Other Agile Development Methodologies

•    Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Azure Kubernetes Services, Experience working with dynamic teams leveraging version control and collaboration platforms such as Git or Jira, 

Nice to Have:

•   Experience with developing and deploying to cloud environment such as AmazonAWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

•    Collaborate with the configuration/functional analyst to design & develop solutions that will bring true business value and future scalability through Guidewire’s modules (Policy, Billing, Claims)

•    Develop custom integration points through Edge API’s to connect Guidewire applications with other internal and external systems

•    Collaborate and coordinate with QA and Release Management teams, providing and receiving feedback  to ensure quality and timely releases

•    Design codes, test and debug complex applications and develop their environments

•    Create and maintain proper documentation and version control

•    Analyze code and complex problems pertaining to the logic of existing systems

•    Validate the technical feasibility of functional files and identify the risk areas

•    Ensure successful completion of developer assignments by planning and tracking progress of assigned work

•    Improve upon and ensure the adherence to the established practices, processes, and guidelines
