Our client.....

is a mid-market wealth management firm located downtown Toronto. They are looking for a standout extensive experience in the capital markets and wealth management space

The role:

  • Triage of second and third level issues and escalate as necessary to internal and vendor resources
  • Identify, escalate, and manage urgent issues to internal teams and vendors
  • Working closely with front office, operations, head office, and trading departments
  • Use of OTRS ticketing system to track and manage all open issues and/or requests
  • Use of vendors Remedy application in order to track and manage all open issues and/or requests with the vendor
  • Communication with end users and business owners of system incidents and maintenance activities  
  • Ensure the vendors are meeting agreed upon deliverables as well as ensuring they are operating within their SLA  
  • Training of back office and support staff on the Dataphile application
  • Active participation in the incident and change management life cycle
  • Routine and on request maintenance – statement messages, configuration of inventory write off accounts; Investment Advisor code updates
  • Create and maintain system support guides for system functional areas

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets
  • Experience working with Dataphile (or similar financial back office systems)
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Operations processing
  • Knowledge of best practices for change and incident management
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in application support preferred
