Payroll Technical Analyst

Job Duties

•     Support projects and implementations, including process design, vendor coordination, ensuring compliance

•     Create and maintain efficient payroll system workflows and tasks, with focus on audit and system integrity

•     Oversee system integrations and diagnose any production issues

•     Contribute to and assist with design the payroll system requirements and business process changes

•     Provide support to the payroll team and assist in payroll process improvement including items related to payroll taxes, other compensation, pension/retirement plans, reporting, and statutory filings

•     Assist in the preparation of analysis and reports for various teams

•     Audit payrolls and create reconciliations

•     As needed, support of the preparation of semi-monthly or monthly payrolls

•     Maintain strong professional relationships with departments that are supported by the payroll team

•     Responsible for ongoing system testing for all new functionality

•     Provide technical support and training to end user of the payroll systems

•     Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training, reviewing professional publications, and staying current on payroll system feature releases.


•     Experienced with payroll & absence systems, specifically with Workday, preferred

•     4+ years of experience processing payroll/s in a high growth environment, Experience with systems analysis or configuration; Experience in configuration troubleshooting and analyzing technical issues

•     Technically Savvy. Strong interest and experience working with technology, including new software tools and systems implementations; Microsoft Excel required.

•     Analytical. Ability to analyze financial data and clearly and concisely document the interpretation of financial analysis, with exceptional attention to detail

•             Communicator. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with executive management
