Job Title: IT Administrator (Prod Support/System Admin)

Duration: The contract is one year and looking to hire immediately

It's a small/medium size asset management firm with $21 Billion AUM with a rock-solid IT department and a great name to have on a resume. The resource will play a critical component in upcoming projects such as a cloud migration. 


· Complete all projects assigned within specified timelines, and update project plans and time entries within the ITSM

 · Complete and document all support incidents within expected SLAs  · Responsible for managing support ticket queues and assigning incidents to themselves as well as other team members

 · Create and update high quality documentation for new/existing systems and update documentation whenever making system changes

 · Ensure all incidents from our support vendors are addressed in a timely manner, and support tickets opened are being followed up on regularly

· Project items involving vendors should be managed accordingly to meet documented dates of completion

· Plan, design, implement, and maintain infrastructure systems and business application servers as required

· Proactively review and advise on areas of the infrastructure that require attention now or in the future with documented recommendations ensuring design meets future planned requirements

 · Monitor network performance and capacity in the areas of response, throughput and availability, and proactively address/correct areas of concern

· Provide quality technical phone and direct support to internal staff 

 · Troubleshooting hardware and software issues

· Install, maintain, and image workstations/laptops  

· Apply security updates to workstations, servers, and appliances

· Experience with Windows and an Active Directory environment

· Provide day-to-day support, administration and management of all systems, storage devices, and applications

· 24x7x365 On-call support for emergency situations
