Responsibilities
 

  • This role with single handily run the Operations team for the Ecommerce Platform.
  • The Team consists of 25 Operational team members situated on site in Toronto and in Chennai India.
  • Responsible to organize the team into an effective Operational team.
  • Establish best practice processes and systems, and ensure the continued guaranteed up-time.



Must Have:
 

  • A dynamic personality, able to manage an Ops team within a fast-paced Ecommerce team.
  • Experience working on an IT Operational Team including; System up-time, incident calls, 24/7 support etc.
  • Highly technical Background in any of System, Applications, Networks, Firewall, Security etc
  • Management Experience working in or running an Operations team, including hiring and team management
  • Be able to answer architectural questions about the systems you support. Be able to explain OS system, patching, communication protocols, Network topology etc.

     


Nice to Haves:
 

  • Cloud Experience, specifically Google
  • Experience with RPA
  • Experience with Automating a manually run Operations team
  • Experience working with offshore resources
  • ITIL Certification
  • Network/Security etc Certifications
  • Ecommerce / Retail Experience
