- This role with single handily run the Operations team for the Ecommerce Platform.
- The Team consists of 25 Operational team members situated on site in Toronto and in Chennai India.
- Responsible to organize the team into an effective Operational team.
- Establish best practice processes and systems, and ensure the continued guaranteed up-time.
- A dynamic personality, able to manage an Ops team within a fast-paced Ecommerce team.
- Experience working on an IT Operational Team including; System up-time, incident calls, 24/7 support etc.
- Highly technical Background in any of System, Applications, Networks, Firewall, Security etc
- Management Experience working in or running an Operations team, including hiring and team management
- Be able to answer architectural questions about the systems you support. Be able to explain OS system, patching, communication protocols, Network topology etc.
Nice to Haves:
- Cloud Experience, specifically Google
- Experience with RPA
- Experience with Automating a manually run Operations team
- Experience working with offshore resources
- ITIL Certification
- Network/Security etc Certifications
- Ecommerce / Retail Experience
