Accountabilities:
  • Provide a vision for the Claim’s organization that is centered on the Customer Value Proposition
  • Ensure the delivery of results with appropriate performance metrics including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance etc.
  • Design and implement an effective organizational structure and operating model focused on customer experience, employee engagement and cost containment
  • Identify a diverse pool of employees and managers for succession planning and leadership development
  • implement rigorous control mechanisms to detect and prevent fraud, comply with company and regulatory policies and requirements, and ensure adequate mitigation of risks
  • Provide input to the organizations strategic and tactical plans and direction with effective positioning and integration of Claims with the rest of the organization.

Experience:
  •  Minimum of 15 years of experience in relevant leadership roles that include delivering results by measuring performance and implementation of new process and technology initiatives
  • Excellent financial and business acumen
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, regulations, claim processes, and adherence to applicable legal and regulatory compliance standards
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Ability to develop strong relationships throughout the organization and influence senior leaders and teams
  • Demonstrated thought leader with the ability to identify new ideas, techniques and opportunities for improving effectiveness, performance and productivity is essential
  • Previous experience leading a large team through transformational change
  • Experience implementing Guidewire is a definite asset
