Network Infrastructure Analyst

As a Network Infrastructure Analyst, you will assist in the planning, development, implementation, support and maintenance of cloud solutions in MS Azure or on premises data center. Reporting to the Manager of Technology your time will be split between providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services or cloud services, and project-based work leading to the deployment of new enterprise services. You will have the opportunity to continuously enhance the capability, security and experience of the enterprise environment and Create documentation such as: Technical Designs, Build Books, Standard Operation Procedures, etc., as well as collaborate with Service Desk and Infrastructure Analysts to resolve reported issues.

Must Have: 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
• 5 years of experience in Information Systems support for on premises, cloud and hybrid
• Strong knowledge and proven experience in setting, securing and managing cloud infrastructure
• Experience in Azure, VMware, Microsoft Server, Linux, Active Directory, Backup networking and M365
• Fundamental understanding of building container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) deployments
• Experience with setup and management of a software driven network, proven track record in setup of Infrastructure as a service and Platform as a service deployment.
• Ability to work in an agile and dynamic environment.
• Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
• Knowledgeable in network devices (firewalls, switches, wireless access points, routers, etc.)
• Understanding of RESTful API interfaces
• Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Dynamics Suite (CRM, FnO, etc)
• Proven working knowledge of mobile devices (OS and Apps)
• Demonstrated specialized technical skills in information systems methodology, process analysis, hardware and software.
• Proven experience with Security Monitoring, automated deployment and patching tools.

Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day operational and emergency support of core infrastructure systems, associated platforms and hosting solutions (On-Prem/Cloud)
• Performs enterprise systems administration/maintenance (Cloud/On Premises)
• Assist project groups with plan, design and implementation of cloud services and/or on-premise infrastructure
• Develop and maintain process, architectures, frameworks, roadmaps, and standards that deliver the strategic IT goals. Comply with technical and industry/regulatory standards for area of interest.
• Ensure that all enterprise solutions follow internally defined governance, security and compliance controls
• Continuously enhance the capability, security and experience of the enterprise environment
•Manage integrations between hosting platforms and applications
• Improve andexecute on security policies, resolve security issues
• Monitors enterprise environment performance (Cloud/On Premises), recommends and implement changes
•Define new patterns and standards as required.Maintain current understanding of Azure Cloud offerings with the ability to implement relevant features.
• Adhere to enforce Change Management processes
• Create documentation (Technical Designs, Build Books, Standard Operation Procedures, etc)
• Collaborates with Service Desk and Infrastructure Analysts to resolve reported issues (Tier 3).
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
