Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

isgSearch wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, screen magnification or other assistive technology. This statement describes how accessible the site is today, what we have done to improve it, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our commitments under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, including our multi-year accessibility plan, are set out in our Accessibility Policy.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content accessible. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA. Partially conformant means that the content we control meets the standard, and that some components supplied by third parties may not yet fully conform. As permitted by the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, live captions (1.2.4) and pre-recorded audio description (1.2.5) are not included.

What we have done

In September 2026 we reviewed the website against WCAG 2.0 level AA and made the following improvements:

  • The job search filters for location, category and job type can now be opened and used with a keyboard and are announced correctly by screen readers.
  • Every page has a working “skip to content” link and a main content landmark.
  • Text and button colours were adjusted so that text meets the required contrast ratio against its background.
  • The moving client logo carousel and the background video on the homepage have a pause button.
  • The mobile menu and its submenus can be opened and used with a keyboard.
  • Form fields on the job search and resume submission forms have labels, and error messages are easier to read.
  • Each job posting has its own page title, and links, images and logos have meaningful text alternatives.
  • The site remains usable when zoomed to 200%.

Known limitations

  • Job listings and parts of the application process are provided by a third-party recruitment platform. We have corrected what we can on our side and have asked the supplier to fix the remaining issues in their code.
  • Content embedded from other services, such as videos and social media, is provided by those services and may not fully conform.
